In 2016, the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, met me in Sikkim. He lauded my work with organic farmers in his monthly national broadcast ‘Mann ki Baat’ and various other forums like The National Tribal Carnival, and Young CEOs Meet. His recognition, as well as the government’s continued investment in both — the startup and the sustainable agriculture ecosystem have been a continued source of encouragement and inspiration for me.

Forbes Asia 30 under 30
2020 also saw me getting featured in Forbes Asia’s 30 Under 30 List of social entrepreneurs for excellence in public service. It has always been a privilege to have the opportunity to elaborate upon India’s budding entrepreneur economy and export achievements on a global scale.
It was a dream come true! Now I can justify why I missed numerous family gatherings and outings with friends.

National Agripreneur Award
Awarded in 2017 by the Entrepreneur Association of India and Holland.
This award is close to my heart as it commemorates the hardships and challenges we face while working in the agriculture domain. From language to washroom; mountain sickness to Maggi, the challenges pressed on but an indomitable spirit to boost the agricultural practices and increase profitability of the farmers of North East India, has helped us to forge ahead.
Indian Agribusiness Excellence Award
Awarded in 2017 in the field of agri-entrepreneurship by Indian Conventions before the august gathering of 300 Dignitaries from the Global Agri & Food Industry who were invited to join the Ceremony making this occasion a momentous occasion.
The organization recognises the long yards put in by Pravata foods to address the challenges which leads to a positive and profitable social impact in the tough North East Indian terrains.
Best Women Entrepreneur Award (by AIFPA)
Awarded in 2018 in the field of Women Entrepreneurship in the food industry by All India Food Processors’ Association (AIFPA) at the platinum jubilee celebration of the organization. The event was marked by the presence of the Hon’ble President of India, Ministry officials, Industry leaders.
In the thundering roar of appreciation, the metaphorical glass ceiling was thrashed. This award is even more significant for the millions of girls and women who aspire to be a successful entrepreneur.

Received from World Leadership Congress for facilitating and promoting the use of ‘spice for health’ along with developing innovative wellness products for better lifestyles choices in the consumers.

The story of my journey resonated in the global corridors too when I received the Global Excellence Women Leader award. This award is symptomatic of the new India which sheds away mediocrity and brings women to a more equitable level of education and business.
